Parents should feel: my child can be known and happy here. Chippingford is a highly intentional school. It is not for every family, and it is not trying to be. Before you write, read the Head of School’s letter. Then sit with this, as it is.

This is the school if

You want a Judeo-Christian classroom, where children are taught that they are children of God, and that truth, kindness, gratitude, and duty are not extras.
You want a classroom that seeks truth, not one that organizes a child around the news.
You want a school that stays human on purpose: five to eight children, a teacher who knows them, no screen in a small hand.
You want a school that will not undermine you, that keeps conversation with children age-appropriate, and that helps you parent with courage.
You want instruction that is offline-first and human-led. We do not put screens in small hands, and we do not rush children toward tools that can shape them before they can judge them.
You want a curated community of parents, not a customer relationship. Privacy and discretion are part of how we live.
$30,000 for the 2026–27 year is a fit, with or without need-based aid. Aid does not change the school.
You understand we choose families. We do not fill a chair to fill a chair.

This is not the school if

You want a secular or progressive independent, and the faith is something you would rather skip.
You want the room to begin with ideology or identity, rather than with truth.
You want a mill with a small-class sentence, or a school whose proof is devices and size.
You want the school to parent for you, or to keep things from you.
You want a pod, or a cheaper version of a school you already know.
You need the Head of School to be the first conversation.

The entry years

Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten are the door. Primary is five to eight children, and it remains that way. Tuition is $30,000. Need-based assistance may be available.

There is no tour to skip the writing, and no phone number that begins the process.

What happens next

We read every response. Not every family continues, and a no will come from Admissions, not from the Head of School.

If there is a possible place, a current parent will call you. That conversation is the first human door.

Then, if it still seems right, you will meet the Head of School in person in Westwood.

You will hear from us within two weeks of that meeting.

Then, if we go on, your child spends a morning with us.

Then, if there is a place, an offer.
